Welcome to the Drumlough Pipe Band Website. Whether you are a Piper, Drummer, Drum Major, non playing enthusiast or in any way linked to Pipe Bands , we hope the site is as enjoyable as any others in the same tradition. And even if you're not into the Pipe Band Tradition, then we hope that the site has something to offer everyone. We hope you enjoy.
Drumlough Pipe Band are pleased to announce that Roy Ferguson is now the band's new leading drummer.
Roy has a wealth of experience as a leading drummer in pipe band circles and competed with Bleary and District Pipe band in grade 1. He is an excellent tutor and is the driving force behind 'Young Drums' which he formed to tutor young drummers whom he has taken to perform at many high profile public events.
The band is also pleased to welcome new drum corp members Colin Fullerton and Colin Masters and wish them a long and successful association with the band
To those learner pipers and drummers, the inexperienced player and perhaps those who have taken a long sabbatical from the game, "
We would like you to know the following"
A new venture in the form of a junior pipe band is in its infant stages. At the moment, it is gathering momentum and is being steered by Pipe Major Lexie Burrows. For anyone interested, whatever your experience, the practices take place on Friday evenings, in Drumlough Hall, from 7pm onwards. Everyone will be made welcome. It is pleasing to see a number of people (learners, inexperienced players and ex –players) involved in this already. We hope this will become a band in its own right and also that it will complement and sustain the senior band.
For further details regarding either of the two bands please don’t hesitate to contact the band through the website or telephone any band member.
